You're Great with Customers on the Telephone
Why not look for vacancies in our telephone betting department as a Customer Service Agent? Located at our Company Head Office in Essex, Coral employs almost 200 trained operators in our Telebet department. We offer fantastic training to enable the highest levels of customer service, and are recognised for our customer relationship management.
You still get the buzz of a busy environment, taking bets from customers and delivering great service, but you’ll be office based with a great team around you. We need to be available whenever our customers need us, so our Call Centres are open long hours - open from 9:30am - 10:45pm Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 10:45pm Saturday, and 10:00am - 10:45pm Sundays. Ideal if you are looking for work outside of “normal hours” to fit around your other interests.
You Want to Work in a Big Team
If working in a big team of energetic, fun loving people is your thing then there are plenty of jobs you can consider. Our Casino’s, Bingo Clubs and Telephone Betting Call Centres (Coral) all have big teams – some with over 100 colleagues in the team! Previous experience in a customer focussed position will help but the most important thing is you have a great personality, and want to give great customer service. If so, look for Team Assistant, Trainee Gala Dealer or Customer Service Agent.
You're Nuts About Sport
If you are a sports fan, then where better to work than one of our Coral Shops? Your job will be to help customers – many of which like nothing more than to talk about sport all day – and on top of that you’ll be surrounded by screens of live sporting events. But don’t be fooled into thinking it’s an easy life – our shops are busy places and you’ll need to be on your game all of the time. If you have some previous experience of managing a team, like leading from the front and have a natural way with people then you might want to consider a position as a Club Operations Manager. Your job would be to make sure the Bingo Club is running smoothly and that you and your team are focussed on making sure customers are having a great time.
Office
Search for vacancies in our Support Centre or for Customer Service Agent positions if you are looking for an office based job. Our Support Centre includes Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, Efficiency and Property departments. When we recruit for these departments we tend to look for previous experience but if you don’t have any then look for Accounts Payable Assistant or Administration vacancies.
You Don't Mind Working in a Small Team With Lots of Customer Contact
Working in one of our Coral Shops means contact with customers all day. We have walls of TV screens in each of our shops, so customers come in to place bets, watch live sporting events and can often stay for several hours at a time. You will be part of a small team but the great things about that is you can have a big impact on the success of the shop. You can join us as a Customer Service Advisor, or if you have some previous experience in retail you could apply to be an Assistant Manager.
You Want to Work Normal Daytime Hours
If you are looking to work during “normal” office hours then it may be worth considering one of our Support Centre vacancies. Normal Support Centre hours are 9am to 5pm but it will depend on the vacancy you apply for. If necessary, many of our Support Centre colleagues will put in a few extra hours in order to hit a deadline – but this is an individual choice and is not something that is expected of you.

All of our divisions have certain times in the day that are busier than others, so we have a lot of colleagues that work on a part-time basis. Most of our part-time positions are for Customer Service Advisors, Customer Service Agents and Team Assistants.

If you are looking to learn a new trade or skill, then we have several positions where previous experience isn’t essential, such as Customer Service Advisor, Trainee Gala Dealer, IT Helpdesk, Accounts Payable Assistant and Administrator. You've Got a Good Head for Figures
If you are good with numbers then a job as a Customer Service Advisor or an Accounts Payable Assistant might be ideal for you. Our Coral Teams have to be comfortable with numbers to help customers understand the odds that we set. If you apply for one of these positions you will be asked to complete a short numeracy test. Our Accounts Payable Assistants are responsible for processing invoices and paying our suppliers so accuracy and good numeracy skills are essential.
I'm Interested In Technology And Gadgets And How They Make Things Better For The Customer
We’re always looking to develop new and exciting ways for our Bingo customers to enjoy their favourite games. When we introduce new technology such as our Touchpad Consoles, our Club Operations Managers and Club Operations Supervisors work with their teams to help customers to learn how to use them.

It’s a really important job because everyone in the business relies on the IT Helpdesk Team to fix their computers and systems when they are not working – without these it is very difficult for people in the rest of the business to do their jobs. IT Helpdesk is a great starting point for a career in IT.
I've Got Good PC Skills
If you have good PC skills then look for vacancies in our Support Centre. Using a PC is a big part of most Support Centre positions. If you want a challenge and are IT literate then look for vacancies in Accounts Payable, Administration or IT Helpdesk.
